The Power Of Being Impatiently Patient

Most people are eager to get started and take the first move on a new endeavour or project but then they go no further…

The key to accomplishment and success in any field is to adopt the opposite mentality.

Take your time to ensure you’ve got the perfect moment, then relentlessly go all in.

When a problem arises be patient in seeking a solution or opening, then fully commit yourself to the solution or attack that you see is advisable.


When it comes to drinking beer there are two types of drinkers…

1. The sippers that take their time to savour the drink

2. The gulper that has trained themselves over time to consume a large amount of liquid in a short amount of time, bypassing the natural tendency of the throat.

You must be impatiently patient when it comes to knowledge and accomplishment like the gulper.

You cannot afford to be patiently impatient like the sipper, thinking you have a lifetime to accomplish your goals because we do not know how many days we have left.


Don’t act as if you were immortal and have time to sip away at knowledge and accomplishment.

Seneca said it best in ‘On the Shortness of Life'...

There’s no guarantee you’re going to outlive a healthy 95 year old just because you’re 25 (we’re not guaranteed a set number of days or years left to live).

Your birth certificate age doesn’t guarantee how long your life will be.

Start as if you were going to die tomorrow but pursue big things as if you were going to live forever. 

The abundance mindset is key, but remember we are not abundant in time.
