I contacted Brian, founder of Quiet Punch to ask a couple of questions via email and after receiving extremely swift replies I ordered one of these bad boys (shipping from the US to Australia was a bit complicated at the time but we got it sorted).
The Quiet Punch comes with a variety of workouts, but in my case the Quiet Punch was simply to hone in on my timing, jab, cross speed and form, in and out movement and shoulder endurance.
Quiet Punch Fills A Gap In The Market
Minimal Space? No Problem.
When setup the Quiet Punch occupies a doorframe between 28" and 36" in width, there's no need to have any big bulky bag sitting or hanging in the corner of your room.
The Quiet Punch can easily be packed away and stored in a draw when not in use.
Noise Conscious? No Problem.
The soft memory foam on the hand stitched pad combined with the tension on the pad when setup in your door frame eliminates virtually all sound.
High repetition flurries of punches and power strikes (yes you can hit this thing HARD) aren't particularly audible (if you've got neighbours on the other side of a condo wall this is not a problem).
Tight Budget? No Problem.
$99 including shipping for an innovative product that's had a lot of thought in the design as well as quality and care in the manufacturing process is a good deal in my eyes. Remember, when looking at the cost of a product you should view the value it's going to provide you.
If you're never going to use the Quiet Punch then $99 is a bad buy for you.
If, like me you integrate the Quiet Punch into your morning routine to hone in on your skills or as part of a home interval training workout to burn fat and increase your cardiovascular fitness you're getting an absolute bargain.
Travel Often? No Problem.
As mentioned earlier the Quiet Punch only weighs 4lbs and takes literally 6o seconds to setup.
Move it between your office and home, take it on road trip with you, put it in your suitcase... it's versatile!
My Experience With The Quiet Punch
I typically review books and supplements which I can gauge the value and effectiveness of quite quickly... when it came to the Quiet Punch I was hesitant to put out my thoughts or mention it at all for a period of time.
I didn't want to recommend something that couldn't stand a combination of the test of time + my abuse.
I ordered and received my Quiet Punch late in 2016 (see emails below) and have been using it daily since.
