You Must Learn to Unlock Destroyer Mode

You must unlock destroyer mode using a combination of emotion and logic.

When adversity strikes, be it in your business or during a physical endeavor you must continue when the common man would quit.

When it does not seem logical to go on you must use your emotion to fuel you.

When you're too emotional to continue you must do your best to remain composed and operate on logic.

On Mind Control

Mind control is learning how to take charge of your own thoughts, not the mind of others.

When you've mastered your own mind you'll be unstoppable.

Too many people focus on trying to control and influence others when they should be focusing on gaining control of themselves.

Working Together

You can only go so far alone, both in the boardroom and on the battlefield...

When in a group there will be times when you'll need to compromise as part of a team, however you must NEVER compromise internally with your own values and goals.

Learn From EVERYONE

Don’t idolize anyone.

Learn from the strengths and weaknesses of everyone.

Sometimes it’s most important to learn what not to do than learning what to actually do!

Go To Bed Early!

The secret to getting up early and building momentum is to go to bed early!

Train hard in the morning, limit electronics in the evening and read a book before bed.

You’ll fall asleep like a baby every night.

Understand Your Circle of Control

You can only control your thoughts and actions, not those of other people.

Change your life by focusing on one small decision at a time. Start waking up early, start hitting the weights and starts removing sugar from your diet.

Don't waste your time trying to alter the weather or complaining about the traffic.

Your health & happiness can easily be boosted by actions that're purely within you control.

The Ultimate Weapon

Knowledge is the ultimate weapon.

Read. Research. Ask. Learn.

Question Yourself

Question yourself before you go to bed every night...

Who am I?

What have I learned today?

Fear of Failure

When the majority discuss fear of failure they dismiss it as a bad thing.

"You must never fear failure!!!" they say.

However, this can lead to carelessness...

Fear of failure is a good thing, it’ll keep you up all night working to ensure you don’t come up short.

You should fear failure but you should be horrified of remaining stagnant and not even trying.

Not Feeling It? Heres What You Should Do...

What to do when you’re “not feeling it”

  • just go through the motions but don’t skip the thing.
  • If you’re burnt out and need rest then plan a rest day for tomorrow, don’t give in on the spot.

Daily Actions Are Key

Focus on your goals and the small daily actions required to attain them.

It's all about building and maintaining that positive momentum!

Lack of action and progress often results in disinterest and the fizzling out of goals.

Regardless of how insignificant an action or step towards your goals may be just do something daily to progress closer.

Build A Home Gym

The easiest way to remain consistent with your training is to have a home gym.

All you need is a pull-up bar, gymnastic rings and a squat rack.

Kettlebells, GHD, medicine balls etc. are nice but far from necessary.

How To Respond to Adversity

Your response to adversity should always be“good!”.

Don’t be unrealistically positive but see the learning experience or opportunity in each failure instead of instantly delving into a negative state.

Motivation Does Not Last

Motivation ebbs and flows, don’t rely on it.

Rely on you self-discipline to get things done.

Learn to Defend Yourself

Learn to defend yourself by becoming familiar with multiple forms of martial arts.

Begin with BJJ (grappling) as 99% of fights will end up on the ground.

Add boxing (striking) to your arsenal once you're able to escape ground-fights and submit individuals on the ground.

Once you've developed your boxing Increase your striking with Muay Thai (adding elbows, knees and kicks to your arsenal).

Once you're confident in your striking increase your overall control of positioning and takedowns via wrestling.

I’m SJ. I’m a fitness enthusiast and published author. I transformed my body from a skinny fat 135lbs with 18% body fat to a solid 192lbs at 8% body fat. I became qualified in a field I was passionate about. I founded several online businesses that allow me to pursue ideas and projects in my life that I am passionate about without having to constantly worry about money. I published several eBooks explaining the training and dieting techniques I used to achieve the body I have today. I learnt a plethora of new information on dieting and fitness by reading and applying what I read, to find out what does work and what doesn’t work, because as I’m sure you’ve noticed the health and fitness industry is full of non-sense claims and BS. I found out what was true and what worked for me and applied that knowledge. And you bet I had fun during the whole process.
