10 Things That Require ZERO Talent

"SJ, I'm not smart enough to be an entrepreneur"

"SJ, I'm not talented enough to do ______"

It's all BS.

Individuals using their circumstances or natural ability as an excuse for where they're at in life in relation to their goals.
Drive, work ethic.... we aren't born with these intangibles, we cultivate and create them through discipline.

Instead of listing 10 reasons why you can't get and do what you want in life apply the below 10 things and make it happen.

Read and understand the following 10 things, print the PDF at the bottom of this article and recommence your chase for success.

1.BEING ON TIME

Time is the most valuable commodity we have, we can’t reverse it and we can purchase more of it… don’t just be on time, arrive early.
Whether it’s to the gym, a business meeting, a date or Jiu Jitsu class.
Being on time allows you to settle in and prepare before the other parties arrive, being on time also shows basic self-respect.
If you show up late to a job interview you’re straight up telling the panel of interviewers that you don’t value their time and you’re lacking the discipline to a pre-arranged commitment.
Being early gives the impression you’re organized right off the bat.

2. WORK ETHIC

Over time you begin to understand that the more you put in the more you get out.
You opt to delay instant gratification and instead are prepared to put in as much work as necessary to get the task at hand done.
A strong work ethic requires you to become both strong mentally and physically.
This is a game of endurance, continue to build and build and build.

3. EFFORT

Effort runs parallel to work ethic, with minimal effort you’ll reap minimal in terms of rewards and accomplishment.
Focus on one thing at a time, multi-tasking is BS.
You must expend your effort in one direction and one direction at a time only.

4. BODY LANGUAGE

Body language says more than words ever will.
You must not only understand body language to read others but you must also implement strategic body language in your own life.
Eye contact, power poses, consuming space… understand and use these to your advantage.
At the same time learn to read those that’re propositioning you, don’t listen to their words, listen to their body language.
Ever ask someone a question and receive a quick ‘Yes!’ as a response but notice that they’re shaking their head? These are the things you must learn to read.

5. ENERGY

Losers take action based on how they feel, if they’re lacking energy they won’t put in the work.
Winners take action based on their values, if they value results and a feeling of accomplishment they’ll do it regardless of whether they have the energy or not.
In order to maintain a steady energy level you must take care of your body.
Don’t binge on sugary foods, keep your relatively low and watch the energy flow.
Use your energy to push your body to its limits physically in the gym and you’ll be rewarded with more energy in return!

6. ATTITUDE

Your attitude shapes how you see things.
If you’ve got a negative attitude before going into a meeting, a workout or any event or project for that matter regardless of how well it goes you’ll see it negatively.
Change your attitude and you’ll change your results, not only in your own life but your positive attitude which will be conveyed through how you carry yourself, your words, your body language and your actions will have effect on others too.

7. PASSION

Put action behind your passion and your gas tank will become limitless.
When you align yourself with a business plan, a person or an idea you’re passionate about what you do won’t feel like work at all.
When you can’t tell the difference between whether you’re working or not you know you’re well and truly on the right path.
You won’t be watching the clock waiting ‘till it hits 5pm.

8. BEING COACHABLE

Michael Jordan the greatest basketball player of all time and Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart are both hugely successful individuals in two very different fields.
But they both have one big thing in common.
They were two of the most coachable being in history.
They may have put on their game face when they were working their craft in the public eye, but behind closed doors they listened, they failed, they asked coaches and mentors and everyone around them for advice, for lessons and they studied those before them.
You will continue to make the same mistakes over and over again unless you’re open to learn.
Learn from the mistakes others have made, don’t be so stubborn that you’re not coachable and don’t believe those around you until you make the damn mistake yourself.

9. DOING EXTRA

If you want more than everything else you must be prepared to do more than everyone else.
Sound overly simple? It is, but very few people follow this advice.
Doing extra may mean exceeding your clients’ expectations, it may mean staying back after practise to drill a few more rounds when everyone else is packing up to go home.
Put in the work for an extra hour a day and you’ll have gained 15 days more work than your competition!

Scott J.https://ignorelimits.com
I’m SJ. I’m a fitness enthusiast and published author. I transformed my body from a skinny fat 135lbs with 18% body fat to a solid 192lbs at 8% body fat. I became qualified in a field I was passionate about. I founded several online businesses that allow me to pursue ideas and projects in my life that I am passionate about without having to constantly worry about money. I published several eBooks explaining the training and dieting techniques I used to achieve the body I have today. I learnt a plethora of new information on dieting and fitness by reading and applying what I read, to find out what does work and what doesn’t work, because as I’m sure you’ve noticed the health and fitness industry is full of non-sense claims and BS. I found out what was true and what worked for me and applied that knowledge. And you bet I had fun during the whole process.
