Success Leaves Clues

If you want to be successful in an endeavour there's no need to re-invent the wheel, regardless of whether you want to be a fitness cover model, a professional blogger or an inventor there is someone out there who has already achieved exactly what you're chasing and chances are they didn't get into the position they're in today by pure luck.

Success comes down to your habits, strategies and actions taken.

Tony Robbins said in his best selling book Unlimited Power, "If you want to achieve success, all you need to do is find a way to model those who have already succeeded."

Go straight to the top and examine the habits and strategies used by those who have already achieved what you want.

You'll find that most prolific, wildly successful bloggers and authors are writing every single day (regardless of whether the work gets published or not).

Those guys on the front cover of your Mens Health magazine didn't get into supreme shape by accident - chances are they are monitoring their caloric intake on a daily basis and follow a resistance based workout regime a minimum of 4 times per week.

Want to be a CEO? Well you better be waking up early and exercising/reading before you head into the office as from my contacts and reading I've discovered that is what the large percentage of them do.

Don't fix that which isn't broken - follow a proven model to success similar to the above.

Here are the actionable steps for you:

1. Find a successful person whom has achieved what you want

2. Identify their habits and strategies.

3. Model and implement the same strategies to achieve your goals.

You can quite literally compress decades of chasing your tail into days by modelling and implementing as I've mentioned.

You're probably thinking to yourself "SJ how am I meant to know exactly what ______ did to achieve their success???"

Pick up a book.

Books can be your best mentors, they quite literally let us delve into the brain of the wildly successful person in question. If you haven't read Arnold Schwarzenegger's biography 'Total Recall' I highly suggest you do so - regardless of whether you want to be a bodybuilder or not the psychological warfare, mindset and habits Arnold implemented throughout his life in the army, real estate investing, bodybuilding and acting can be modelled by us all.

I’m SJ. I’m a fitness enthusiast and published author. I transformed my body from a skinny fat 135lbs with 18% body fat to a solid 192lbs at 8% body fat. I became qualified in a field I was passionate about. I founded several online businesses that allow me to pursue ideas and projects in my life that I am passionate about without having to constantly worry about money. I published several eBooks explaining the training and dieting techniques I used to achieve the body I have today. I learnt a plethora of new information on dieting and fitness by reading and applying what I read, to find out what does work and what doesn’t work, because as I’m sure you’ve noticed the health and fitness industry is full of non-sense claims and BS. I found out what was true and what worked for me and applied that knowledge. And you bet I had fun during the whole process.
