Hyphy Mud Review – Ingredients & Recipe To Make Your Own Cheap & Potent Prison Style Pre Workout Supplement

Hyphy Mud - Your Cheap, Potent Pre-Workout Drink!

There’s no denying that the majority of pre-workout supplements you buy over the counter work, yes they do have ‘proprietary matrixes’ and a load of other BS to conceal filler ingredients in them but that doesn’t hide the fact they are loaded with stimulants (often north of 200mg of caffeine) should you choose to blow $60~ on a small tub of commercial pre-workout chances are your focus, endurance and motivation to train will increase.

But what if you could achieve the exact same effect without spending the big bucks?

Hyphy Mud is a homemade pre workout supplement I’ve heard many gym-goers raging on about both online and at the gym for almost a year now. ‘Kali Muscle’ an actor and bodybuilder on YouTube created this prison style pre workout supplement called Hyphy Mud (short for hyperactive – makes u dangerous).

Chances are you’ve got the ingredients in your house right now to make Hyphy Mud for your pre workout drink.

Hyphy Mud Ingredients

  • 1 cup (don’t use your shaker for this)
  • 1 mixing spoon
  • 1 - 2 heaped teaspoons of instant coffee
  • 200mls of dark soda (Pepsi or Coca Cola will do the trick)

How To Make Hyphy Mud

Place 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons of instant coffee of your choice in the bottom of your cup or glass (amount of coffee dependent on your level of stimulant tolerance).

Top up your glass or cup with dark soda, I find 200ml to be the sweet spot.

Stir your instant coffee and dark soda together.

Drink as quickly as possible, chances are you’re not going to enjoy the taste!

Continue your pre-workout ritual.

Does Hyphy Mud Work? (My Experience & Results)

From my experience, and the feedback I’ve heard from others it’s a big resounding ‘YES!’.

Hyphy Mud works a treat, it kicks in a lot quicker than your traditional pre-workout supplement or caffeine pills too. Within 10 – 15 minutes of drinking your homemade Hyphy Mud you’ll be ready to kill it in the gym.

The mixture of caffeine from your instant coffee and sugar (simple carbs) from your soda is a cheap, efficient NO BS method to get you fired up to break your personal records in the gym.

I can’t tell you whether you’ll get a ‘crash’ after taking Hyphy Mud, as this differs between people. Some of the original pre-workout supplements I used to take including Jack3d and 1MR left me in a state that I could not accomplish anything in (severe crash) after my workout. Hyphy Mud hasn’t given me any problems, the focus and energy after taking it are intense and this feeling gradually wears off after my work out, leaving me able to get on with the remainder of my tasks for the day.

BCAAs (Branch Chain Amino Acids)

Brain Chain Amino Acids assist in preventing the breakdown of muscle when training fasted, if you’re performing cardio first thing in the morning (provided you haven’t eaten for 6~ hours prior) you’ll be in an optimal zone to burn fat, however you run the risk of muscle breakdown too.
